We cover all aspects of drainage design for above and below ground drainage installations for both foul and surface water. We can provide a complete design service from initial survey through to final witnessing and handover including fully detailed construction drawings and specifications.

ABOVE GROUND DRAINAGE
PURA Design has extensive experience in the design of above ground drainage systems for domestic and commercial developments. The type of installation will be chosen to suit the application making use of the latest developments in drainage technology i.e. vacuum or siphonic systems or a conventional gravity system. We are also experts in the design of specialist drainage system for laboratory, research and educational chemical drainage systems.

BELOW GROUND DRAINAGE
The design of below ground drainage by a qualified engineer is of paramount importance to ensure that the drainage system functions correctly. At PURA Design we pride ourselves on the quality of our drawings and specifications. All below slab drainage is fully coordinated with the foundations and sub-structure. All of our drawings are fully annotated with invert levels and gradients. We also provide large scale detail drawings showing component assemblies.

SuDs
The requirement to provide sustainable management of surface water from developments of any size is now a requirement of most planning approvals to reduce the amount of surface water entering our already overloaded public sewer network. We work closely with specialist consultants to design surface water attenuation and rainwater harvesting installations engineered for each specific site that satisfy the requirements of Code for Sustainable Homes Reports and BREEAM.
